well I've had time to calm down now and while I'm still greatly annoyed I'm no longer a raging ball of anger. I probably should have gotten the model release before posting the pics but come on, I've worked with my other friends before and posted those pics and had no problems. Thankfully her older brother and my good friend isn't upset with me. Kimmy (my model) was just being a drama queen. God I hate drama.


well my most recent model is being a BITCH and made me take the photos of her down. Hope to be able to bring them back eventually.

I have two computers and I often need to access certain files on both computers so I decided years ago to keep them on my external hard drive. Well I dropped it a couple of days ago and now the drive itself is broken. Guess what I stupidly kept on it. All my photos from before September 2008 are now GONE. I still have the low res stuff here on Devart but all the original files are gone. I feel like crying. I am such an idiot. t never occurred to me that the hard drive could actually break, I'd had the thing for years! I am such an idiot.

Ok I know you're probably tired of journals complaining about the new popular system now but I'm really really annoyed with it.

I always browse through the popular section for photos to gain inspiration. Lately when I search through all the photos I'm seeing tons and tons of cosplay photos. Now I have nothing against cosplay and I know several photographers who do some really freakin amazing cosplay photos. The problem is the stuff I'm seeing now are just snapshots. There's nothing interesting or artistic about them. I want to see eye-popping amazig photos. I have to dig through tons and tons of cosplay and snapshot photos. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

In the fall I started taking photography courses at my local community college. I took a black and white film photography course and I will be taking a slightly more advanced version of the class starting Tuesday. I've never gotten around to scanning the photos in. Mostly cus I can never get my scanner to scan anything properly. I've decided it was time to scan them all in and post them. So sorry if I'm spamming your inboxes.
